Patricia Haddad is a public health professional and consultant, with over 10 years of experience in the fields of HIV/AIDS, drugs, and harm reduction. Patricia started working in these fields at SIDC in 2008 following her completion of a Master's Degree in Public Health from the American University of Beirut. She was involved in different aspects of harm reduction training and advocacy, outreach work with all key populations, and operational research activities.
Patricia was the Programs Coordinator for the Middle East and North Africa Harm Reduction Association (MENAHRA) for six years, a regional organization dedicated to strengthening the role of civil society organizations in harm reduction in the region. Her work involved grant management and oversight of programs at MENAHRA, including start-up of harm reduction programs in the region and technical follow-up. She was also involved in networking and coordinating with a number of regional networks in the field, including MENARosa, MENANPUD, M-Coalition, ITPC, and AFEMENA.
