Adrià is a consultant for the Human Rights and Justice team. He supports their work monitoring rights abuses committed globally in the name of drug control, and advocating for the human rights of people who use drugs and their communities.
Adrià holds a law degree from the University of Barcelona (Spain), an M.B.A. from University Pompeu Fabra (Spain), and an M.A. in human rights from University College London.
After several years practicing law in the private sector, Adrià switched his career in 2016 to focus on human rights advocacy. He has since worked for Article 19, carrying out research on freedom of expression online; for the European Parliament, facilitating the engagement between MEPs and human rights defenders from across the world; and for Amnesty International’s EU foreign policy team.
