The response this year was unprecedented, with over 80 films submitted. Thirty-five films from regions as diverse as Latin America, Africa, Central Asia, the Middle East and Europe have been selected for screening. This year we are delighted to announced that Lebanese broadcaster MTV has agreed to sponsor the event and the festival team are equally excited about a ground breaking public programme being screened at the Metropolis Arts Cinema Empire Sofil in Beirut's centre on Saturday April 2nd to be opened by TV personality Georges Kordahi.
